From yarns of thread,
Cloth is spun and made,
Alas but with regret,
It will be cut into shreds!
On the shreds of cloth,
Needles and thread work in tune,
In and out they sew,
To form a shirt brand new.
And now for the pants,
It's not that different,
For they begin as shreds,
Connected by needles and threads.
That's clothes making, my friend,
So simple it seem,
Yet so noble are they,
The unsung heroes, ol' seamstresses.
